Hello,

i'm wondering if anybody has some experience with Zeos and Firebird. We consider if we should use zeos in one of our next projects. It would be a bigger commercial project.

I would be glad if somebody can tell about his experiences.

I'm interested in this topic as well. At the moment I use IBObjects. I would like to support other databases as well, so I could move to dbExpress, but I hear/find so little about it. Another option is the Zeos library. I must admit, I'm reluctant in using it as well. Also because of the fact that I find little documentation/experience about the Zeos lib. So any experience/advice appreciated!

Well, I only use Zeos in "private" projects, so there are no problems with performance and concurrence, with Firebird, MySQL, a little Oracle, mostly with Kylix. There have been nor real difficulties so far, and if you encounter them, there is this forum.
