Zeos and .NET

Is there any planned ZeosLib version for .NET -> DBS 2006 exactly?

If no, what is the main reason for this?

As far as I know there are no .NET plans. Reason? A lack of developers with experience on this topic, maybe?

What would be the impact on source code? Just one more package version or completely new database drivers? A new package version would only need a smart programmer to write it and I don't think that's a big job for a bds2006/.NET expert. But where's the expert? If somebody turns up and manages to fix it, I'm very willing to add it to the project. However, if we see nobody responds there will be no bright future for it, I'm afraid.

Well, I don't know nothing about .NET other than abstract information (no code), but this may answer your question:

The major RDMS already have a data provider or a project to do. Zeos came to supply a hole in delphi/kylix/lazarus world, but I don't think it's needed in .NET.

BTW, it's an oppinion from a non .NET programmer, waiting for more technical writers :)
