Is ZEOS 7 ready for Firebird 3.0?

I seem to remember that Egonhugeist has done some modifications for FB3 already. You should be on the safe side as long as you only try to use features that were already suported in the 2.5 version. Other than that I didn't have time to play with Firebird 3.0.
Which new features of FB3 do you want to use?

Thanks for your response. Yes, I am using features for version 2.5+. My concern about version 3.0 is related to eventual changes in the connection protocol and database security, but I am not sure if these changes affect Zeos anyway.

I am still studying the changes in this version but some changes that I am watching are the use of multiples CPUs and cores, new statistical functions, new series of analytical functions, individual database configuration.

For me works with ZEOS 7.2 and ZEOS 7.3 Current Snapshots.

Hello Joao,

I did a quick scan of the API changes section of the Firebird 3.0 RC1 Release Notes. As far as I can see there are no API changes that would make Zeos incompatible with Firebird 3.0. Just use the Firebird 2.5 driver and make sure, you use a Firebird 3.0 fbclient.dll.
If you face any problems please open a bug report on Sourceforge.

Just to let you know I'm using the new Zeos option 'Firebird 3.0' and 'Firebird 3.0 RC1' and everything is ok. After upgrading the DB I realized that it is a bit faster than version 2.5.5. No glitches until now.
