Installing stable version (7.0.3) to Delphi 2009 failed

Post by edeaux »

I am now frustrated why I couldn't install zeos to Delphi 2009. I followed the steps related to installation on this forum but it failed. I can see Zeos in component packages but no components shown. Please give me the right steps for Delphi 2009.

There are several posts like this: http://zeos.firmos.at/viewtopic.php?t=3708 that you can find just searching for it.

I'm sure you gonna find a faster solution searching for it than waiting for a reply.

I hope this helps you.

I followed the instructions indicated in installation.pdf. Installing the package seemed successful as it showed "Package D:\....\ZComponentDesign120.bpl has been installed.". I created a new application then I was looking for Zeos component but nowhere to be found. I checked it from Packages (Component > Install Packages..) and i found but no components shown in Installed components. I tried installing on 2 PCs and failed. Could some help me to install this properly?

I just used the packages from svn://svn.code.sf.net/p/zeoslib/code-0/tags/7.0.3-stable. Still the same. Is it really working on Delphi 2009? We have 7 PCs with Delphi 2009 and none of it has installed correctly.

edeaux,

NO idea. you shoud have a registerd group "Zeos Access" in the component should be available there.

Be sure you've cleaned all deprecate Zeos-bpl's,dcu's,dpk's before. Can't reproduce your issue.
