location of libfbembed.so

Hi there
I have installed firebird superserver on fedora 18 beta with lazarus and the stock TIBConnection has worked fine. Now I have installed the zeos components and can't get a connection to my db. I have made symbolic links to my libfbembed.so all over the place but Zeos can't find it.

Should I try an edit of the ZplainFirebird file or can someone tell me where zeos is looking for this library.

Fedora 18 (and earlier versions) have adopted a simplified linux directory structure that may not be familiar to zeos!?

Any help would be appreciated.

pir8don,

Can you attach a patch? Don't other hand, if you use Zeos7, can you use TZConnection.LibraryLocation instead. Unter fullpatch (if requiered) and the library name theire and Zeos will load this libraray instead.

Easiest is to use the Zeos7 so will give that a go.
edit: Have got it installed now but strike a problem when trying to compile. Will report over in the Beta section
