Can ZeosLib 7 support Delphi6 later?

7.0.0-alpha is the first experimental release which should make zeoslib usable on Delphi 2009 and Delphi 2010. Support for Delphi versions older than Delphi 7 has been removed.

As you stated Delphi 6 support is dropped .. anyway with small changes you can continue using it.
I use, for some projecys, Zeos 7 with Delphi 6

is there a targetdate for a stable ZEOS 7 release ?

There are no plans to support Delphi versions below D7. Unless seawolf can just tzell there's not that much difference between D6 and D7?
Concerning the target date : there's no date fixed at all. I don't have the impression it's stable so I don't declare it stable. In order to do so I need real involvement of D2009 users who make sure all features work i D2009 as in older versions.
