I'm going to develop a project with delphi2010/2009 and Firebird2.1 and I would like to use ZeosDbo 7.
Could anyone tell me the reliability of this Library Beta Version?

Thank you very much

For what it's worth : I'm running the test suite using D2009 and FB embedded.

This isn't a guarantee, but very general errors would show if they were in the code.

Please try som small test project with the data types and charsets you'll need before going with the real project.

Hello,

After upgrading to Delphi 2009 (and 2010 now) I converted a few projects from Zeos circa 2005 to Zeos 7 beta. I can't say we use everything in Zeos (no visual components), but theses projects rely extensively on Firebird 2.1 (embedded and server) and PostgreSQL databases (with relatively small databases - <1GB).

I had to work around a few minor issues (not necessarily related to Zeos - external tables with Firebird are a pain - some unicode gotchas, ...), but all in all I'm really pleased with the results. YMMV of course, but I think it's definitely worth a try.
