ZUpdateSQL has no ExecSQL

I'm new to this and hope I'm using the right threat.
I'm using BCB2007 and have installed the zeos-components. With a view modifications all works pretty well except one thing.
Neither in the TZQuery nor in the TZUpdateSQL class I found the ExecSQL method. I've verified it with BCB5 where it is also missing.

Can Someone be so kind and give me a hint what is going wrong or is it just missing??
