how to connect to firebird server or mysql server on another host


how to connect to database server on a host (not the same machine that run delphi) by zeoslib component or ipcontrol?

Just fill out the host property. Use the IP or the network name of the server. If that doesn't work, check eventual network limitations by eg. a firewall. (You can do this check by using an other firebird client (Flamerobin, ...)
