Good Afternoon,

I tried to install the ZeosLib 6.6.3 in Delphi 2009 Trial, but he gives the following error: E2010 Incompatible types: 'AnsiChar' and 'Char'.
Does anyone have any solution?

Hello denilsonass!

There's not solution yet.
We're working to get it running ;)

Any progress on D2009 compatibility?

I'd rather not wait until v7

I am looking at patching it myself, but I have no experience with upgrading strings to D2009. I am afraid I might break something :)

TIA!

See the Alfatest forum for 7.X here.

Generally the status is good. Most testsuite tests pass in D2009 now. Some stream lengths are tested wrong, but I didn't check if the test is bad or the data in the streams. (Different length can be allright as new strings take more
space than Ansistrings)

With some luck you can help us complete the 7.0 version, which will certainly be better than a self-made version.

I'll try to make a new snapshot tonight. When you download a snapshot (http://zeosdownloads.firmos.at/downloads/snapshots ), make sure version >=547.
