Zeoslib 7.3 vs 7.2 (for dummies)

Hi all,

I'm new to ZeosLib and sort of lost. It looks to me Zeos 7.3 is very old by not stable/production ready yet and one should use 7.2 instead.

Is this true or I'm getting something wrong? If one is starting with Zeos, what version should go with, and where's the best place to get it?

Are people out there using 7.3 in production?

Sorry for the dummy questions and any help is appreciated.

Regards,

My POV: Yes i use it for production a long time. Loads of things did change and our change-list is not complete yet.
So don't hassitat to test, you're welcome. Report problems in the forum and you'll get support by users or members...

@afariascc,

Zeos 7.3:
viewtopic.php?f=50&t=73319&p=153015#p153015
is rather very new.
There are no more errors than 7.2 is faster, more convenient and I only use it instead of 7.2 for a long time.

I am also using 7.3 in production for a while now. Other than special cases or rarely used features no production breaking bugs occurred.
