greetings all,

over here I use:
Delphi7
Postgres 8.0.4
ZeosLib 6.5.1.-alpha

I have a problem connecting to the pg server as there seems to be missing a libpq8*.dll file.
Does anyone knows where to get it? I'm unsuccesfull connecting te 7.4 lib.

as long as the Postgre 8.0.x integration is not done, please refer to this and try if it will work for you:

• Protocol x libpq.dll

Hello friend

I have been using the zeoslib 6.5.1 with Delphi 7, 2005, Lazarus win32 and Lazarus Linux without any problem, through the Lazarus win32 accessing server linux debian(PostgreSql 8.0.3) and we tested Lazarus Linux accessing server windows server 2003 and it also worked with the libpq.dll. Place in ZConnection the protocol postgresql.
