I have a mistake, I read the Firebird Types from a wrong page http://www.firebirdsql.org/manual/migra ... types.html instead of http://www.firebirdsql.org/en/firebird- ... fications/ as suggested by miab3 in other tread.

Or change fields in database from FLOAT to DOUBLE PRECISION. Firebird lets you do that without losing the data (but not the opposite - you can only convert smaller to larger type).

All, especially users of Delphi 7.

As it significantly changes zeos.inc, users Delphi 7 can have problems with the Installation from ZEOS version 7.2.1-rc.
Therefore I Attach the patch which I use for Delphi 7 and current versions ZEOS 7.2(7.2.1-rc or svn 3873). Michal
