Zeos OK for OS X?

Post by mamcx »

Hi, I plan to release a data integrator app for both Win/Os X.

I need support, at least:

- Sqlite
- Sql Server (can be only windows)
- MySql
- Postgress
- Firebird
- Acces (can be only windows)

I wanna know if ZL work stable on Os X + Freepascal and wich version is the best as today.

Best version is 6.6.4-stable. It works allright with fpc on 32 bit windowd and linux systems.
If I remember correctly OS X is a linux derivative? So I don't expect issues on OS X , as long as the database client libraries can be found.

Maybe it's necessary to set the linux defines in zeos.inc to make sure everything compiles well.

Just tell me if I'm wrong. If more changes are necessary but everything works well afterwards, just tell us so we can do those changes.
