German umlauts as ä, ö, ü ???

I am using SQLite-Administator on WinXP in German language for editing a poor database originally produced in Outlook and imported in a Medion Navigator P4410 (as PDA). Now I have to edit this SQLite 3.0 database, because the original Outlook with data have been destroyed.

The SQLite works fine, but I can not see correct the german umlauts as ä, ö, ü or the Hungarian or French accents as é, á, ú , only with curious strange letter combinations. Possibel it is unicode utf-8 ?
And so it is impossible to produce new datasets with this letters.
Have I to use SQLite Database Browser for simple editing this?

Der SQlite Administrator hat keine Unicode oder UTF8 Unterstützung. Wird es vermutlich auch nicht mehr geben, da ich kaum noch Zeit für die Pflege des Tools habe. Schau dir mal SQlite Spy an, das hat Unicode Unterstützung.

SQlite Spy habe ich mir besorgt. Leider hat auch dieses tool keine Option,
wie ein Dummer einen Satz anfügen kann. Ich werde weiter SQlite database browser nutzen, Datensatzanfügen aber mit Deinem Administrator vornehmen. Solange man noch nichts eingegeben hat, spielt die Anzeige ja noch keine Rolle...
