Is there a way to use Zeoslib ZQuery component for querying different datasets, such as TDbf, TSdf etc, so without ZConnection?
I am looking a solution that could provide SQL query capabilities for non-SQL datasets, something like TxQuery component...
Do you plan to provide it in ZeosLib?

No, it's not planned.
I suppose it must be possible to write a new dbc implementation for this kind of actions. That way you could 'connect to a server' just as if it was a real sql server.

But as long as nobody shows up who wants to implement it it will not be done...
