ZDbcMySqlStatement.pas(96): File not found: 'DateUtils.dcu'

Hi all.

First, thanks for this great work.

I've a problem during the installation when I try to compile
ZDbc.bpl and ZComponent.bpl I have this error :

[Fatal Error] ZDbcMySqlStatement.pas(96): File not found: 'DateUtils.dcu'

I use Delphi 5 with Update Pack 1 and ZeosLib 6.5.1 alpha.

Someone can hlp me? I'am a newbie...

Hi,

As a newbie it's not possible to install the most recent release on D5, because somebody has built in some newer Delphi functions. You can install the release of 14/11/2004 waiting until somebody fixes the D5 compatibility. That version installs without trouble in D5 Enterprise Edition. In the Progfessional Edition you will have to remove the references to ADO as these components are not available in that version.

There are some other threads in this forum that refer to these problems.

... or add the DateUtils.pas unit? This is a guess, but maybe... Try to find it ina any other package of Zeos.
