Hi to everybody!
I would like to know if some of the ZeosLib users might be interested in a developer conference?
If this is the case, I would try to organize something like this at my university in Ulm, Germany.
Of course the conference language would be english and I would need some support of volunteers. Especially to decide what kind of talks, sessions or tutorials we offer/accept.
Furthermore I would like to combine it for the conference with the Lazarus project.
Please can you all give me some feedback if you are interested?
Otherwise it doesn't make sense to invest all the work...
Regards,
Tibor

That's a little bit too far from here... Very little chance I get there in a reasonably quick and affordable way... (I know... It's only 700 km... Not too much for a German, American, ...)
I hope there will be some positive reactions, however... And if the timing allows it, I'll certainly check if I can get there somehow anyway...

Hi to all again,
I knew it will be difficult because a good running OpenSource project has often a worldwide community.
But anyway if there's interest also in something like an online conference, please give me a sign here.
The time for planning and preparation will need approx. 1 year anyway.
I suggest we leave this task open and everybody who has a good idea can post it here.
For example has somebody experience with online conferencing? I did only Wengo and Skype with max. 3 people.
Regards,
Tibor
