Rad Studio XE6 and Zeos 7.1.3

Hi Guys

Was wondering if someone can help me please. I am new to Rad Studio and Zeosloib. I would like to install and use the Zeoslib components in Delphi XE6, but i cannot seem to figure out how to install the packages?

I have downloaded and installed TortoiseSVN and downloaded packages from "https://zeoslib.svn.sourceforge.net/svn ... slib/trunk", it downloads files, but only goes up to XE2. I have downloaded the 7.1.3 Stable release, but that only has files up to XE5 but doesnt have the same files as was downloaded with TortoiseSVN.

How do i get it to work with XE6 please?

Thank you for the reply. It worked very nicely.

I want to use MySQL as my database, but am not sure which installation do i need to use in order to install a MySQL database.

How do i use the ZeosLib connection to link up with my database once installed? Do i use and ODBC connection or how do i need to set it up?

no ODBC to use ,this is the biggest advantage of the ZeosLib ! just put a ZConnection and the his protocol propertie to the right value mysql-xx (depending of your version)

I am currently writing one in French (Firebird database but not only and Delphi 7-> XE7) but only during my lost time publication for christmas i hope
