MySQL has released the following Lifecycle Calendar for its DB Servers:
  • 3.23
    • Active Support Ends on 2006-07-31
    • Extended Support Ends on 2006-12-31
  • 4.0
    • Active Support Ends on 2006-09-30
    • Extended Support Ends on 2008-12-31
  • 4.1
    • Active Support Ends on 2006-12-31
    • Extended Support Ends on 2009-12-31
  • 5.0
    • Active Support Ends on 2007-12-31
    • Extended Support Ends on 2010-12-31

If they end support (5.0), what version follows, or does it simply ist no longer free available?
