Hi,
What is the recommended procedure to update to the latest stable? Our project uses BDS2006. In 6.6.1-beta, I see there are directories labeled "delphi6" - "delphi10" and we have the components from the "delphi10" folder installed.
I see that 6.6.6-stable has the same folder structure.
I downloaded the 7.0.3-stable package today and I see that there is a delphi7, a delphi9, delphi2005, delphi2007, delphi2009 and so on, but nothing seemingly for bds 2006.
Is it possible to install 7.0.3-stable for bds 2006? If so, how?
Or, perhaps more importantly, what is the correct set of components to connect from a bds2006 client to a server running as 5.1.67-0ubuntu0.10.04.1 (Ubuntu)?
Thank you.
Regards,
Rich

duzenbury,
i should be possible. I must admit i've minor BDS experiences in this domain. Thought you should compile the packages, and link the DCL files?
