Does Zeoslib 6.6 support Mysql 8?

I seem to remember that we had to change some things in Zeos 7.2 to get MySQL 8 supported. Why do you want to use Zeos 6.6? Do you need to use Delphi 6 or older? If yes - which version of Zeos do you use there currently?

hi. i have app in BDS2006 and zeos 6.6. i use mysql 5.7. my goal is to upgrade mysql to 8.
I tryied install zeos 7.2 but im doing it wrong :-(

Unfortunately you are not doing anything wrong. The problem seems to be in the Delphi compiler. You could try to disable protocols you don't need in the Zeos.inc file.

Try current Zeos8 trunk svn 7406, it should work with Delphi 2006.
For me, it compiles and works(with D2006).
