I enabled https+PHP 7.1 for the forums. Unfortunately this introduced some bugs. I will roll back the changes on sourceforge. Probably will have to combine these steps with the upgrade to PHPBB 3.2...

The automatic login (Remember me) is still not working. I think I had this problem too after changing the URL behind PHPBB, and even if it was automatically redirected, the config was pointing to the old one.

I seem to remember that Firefox told me the forums are setting a cookie which belongs to zeoslib.net. I will have to check the ACP...

Edit: I found the cookie settings. They are set to zeoslib.sourceforge.io and SSL now. Also the forums now show the information message that cookies are in use.

Could you please test wether these changes help?

Yep, that should be the issue.

I'm almost certain that it will be fine now, but of course I'll verify. Not going to happen in a couple of hours though - Win10 1909 was released so I'm downloading the latest ISOs and restarting my browser will interrupt this :)

Looks good so far. Jan could you change the color of notifications badge and unread icon? It is too bright and bloody now

This is part of the prosilver style. I dislike the idea to patch this. The only other solution would be to install an additional style. Do you want to choose one on phpbb.com? ;) Another option is to create our own style that inherits from prosilver and only changes this colour. But I also don't know how to do that...

Tbh I'm fine with the looks. The red truly stands out, but if you have a notification it SHOULD stand out in my opinion. I love bloody looks anyway.
A dark mode would be appreciated, but so far it can be solved with addons.

So no complaints from my side :) When I'll have time I'll see if it can be changed via CSS - most of the PHPBB skins allow(ed) this.

I think the color can be changed in styles/prosilver/theme/colours.css?v=3.2:34. The parameter suggests that it is generated; so the local path MIGHT be different (or only exists in the database).
At the very bottom of the file, "li.notification-reported" or ".badge" will be the one which has to be changed (I don't have notifications at the moment, so I can not test it:

Nice work :) Somehow I dislike the idea of modifying the original prosilver style. I seem to remember that phpBB allows one theme to inherit from another theme. Do you think it is possile to derive a theme from prosilver whithout too much work? This way we could have our own Zeos-Theme that holds all of our modifications. Otherwise I would have to redor that modification every time, I do an update on phpBB...

I'll jump into my prehistoric PHPBB installation to verify. I think you can simply add a CSS, overriding values... but I'll have to doublecheck.
