Dear Friends,
I followed the discussion by user "cariad" on Installing on Delphi 2010 and downloaded the Delphi14 goodies he prepared, and while I got much further in the installation than I had in the past, I too am, like so many others on the forums, stumped at the point of compiling Zdbc.
First an ansistring error and then all sorts of Interbase stuff missing, then finally just as you think a everything may be fine.
The wheels come off.
Look forward to your help.

Hello,
Depending on your Delphi configuration, you may need to copy a few files around (*.bpl from BDS\Bpl directory to build) because I have virtually no experience with design time package (almost never used them) - feel free to submit a patch if you want.
However, I never heard of the problem you describe. I just tested a clean install of revision 713 (testing branch) with no problem (apart from the annoying file copy).
Could you please tell me more about the AnsiString and Interbase error ?

Which revision did you try to install ?
Could you please retry with the latest (713 as of now) snapshot available here :
