Dear Friends,
I'm using Delphi 7.1 and MySQL 5.
I have been unable to connect. Delphi complains that the user is invalid and the database is unknown.

Does that mean that both user and database must exist before you can connect?

I'm attempting to write a small database just for the purpose of learning how. I'm using Delphi 7.1 (Delphi 2005 looks too weird for words!), MySQL 5.1, Zeos Database Designer... Two problems persist: 1) Delphi won't connect with MySQL 2) Zeos produces SQL database definition files.... that do what?...
