Re: Packages for C++Builder 10.2 Tokyo and beyond
Hi MetaMetal, Here these HPP files exist when testing Win64 with Zeos 7.2.4 (from SourceForge download) and 7.2.6 (from SVN, revision 5971). I think your path to "\Include" directory might be wrong under 64 bit Windows options. Could you check them using the Manual instructions (step 2.e f...

Re: Packages for C++Builder 10.2 Tokyo and beyond
Hi Jan,
With BDS 2006, we can use Delphi2006 packages to install into Delphi or C++Builder personalities.
These are Delphi packages indeed, but I've configured them to generate C++Builder files.
Marcelo.

Re: Packages for C++Builder 10.2 Tokyo and beyond
Hi Jan Here is the new set of packages, tested with ZeosDBO version 7.2.6 (revision 5971): Delphi2006 (generates CBuilder files) CBuilder2009 CBuilderXE2 CBuilderXE10.2 (Win32 and Win64) I've created manuals per IDE, since the general one was getting confused. I hope this packages help other C++Buil...

Re: Packages for C++Builder 10.2 Tokyo and beyond
Success!!! (I think!? ) With C++Builder 10.2.3 and Win34 platform, we need to add "Dynamic library import files (*.a)" in Package's Contains list !!! IDE will include <LibFiles Include=something.a> nodes in cbproj files. It is like what we usually do with .lib files when got ilinke...

Re: Packages for C++Builder 10.2 Tokyo and beyond
Hi MetaMetal, No luck here with Win64 target yet, even with packages created from scratch. But, finally, it seems is not my fault: https://forums.embarcadero.com/message.jspa?messageID=651274 I'll just try this comment, that is different from what I've done until now: Workaround was adding Win64 lib...

Re: Packages for C++Builder 10.2 Tokyo and beyond
Hi MetaMetal, An error occurred in 10.3.2 Rio. Very strange warnings before a not so much descriptive error message. I don't have a virtual machine with C++Builder 10.3 yet, so it will have to wait a little more. Just in case, how did you setup in C++Builder 10.3.2 the environment paths for ZeosDBO ...

Re: Packages for C++Builder 10.2 Tokyo and beyond
Hi Jan, I'm looking here and the "CBuilder*" packages in version 7.2.6 (SVN) are old ones, maybe from this thread (http://zeoslib.sourceforge.net/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=21225&p=37527#p37527). They have path automation like "$(ZEOSDBO)\$(Platform)\$(Config)\" for Bpl, Includ...

Re: Packages for C++Builder 10.2 Tokyo and beyond
Hi Jan,
Sure, I'm glad to help.
I've checked-out version 7.2 from SVN and I can see my CBuilder* packages there.
I'll test and reply to you soon.
Best,
Marcelo.

Re: Packages for C++Builder 10.2 Tokyo and beyond
HI MetaMetal, We were splitting this conversation between IDE versions, but the problem resides in the differences between Zeos 7.2.4-stable and 7.3.0-test. So, here are a new arrangement. Zeos 7.2.4-stable Tested with mine packages and working properly for Win32 with C++ Builder XE2 and C++ Builder...

Re: 7.2.4 C++ Builder 10.3.2 install problem
Hi MetaMetal,
If you use the CBuilder12 packages with C++Builder 10.3 it wont work properly.
Did you tried to open and update the packages that I wrote for C++Builder 10.2?
See this thread: http://zeoslib.sourceforge.net/viewtopi ... 50&t=77979

Re: Packages for C++Builder 10.2 Tokyo and beyond

Re: Packages for C++Builder 10.2 Tokyo and beyond
Hi Jan, Attached to this message there is the package for CBuilderXE10.2. I've wrote a simple manual to use it, mainly focused on the use of IDE's Environment Variables and some Troubleshooting. Actually, this package have a problem when compiling for Win64 platform, using dynamic linking, as I've r...

Re: Packages for C++Builder 10.2 Tokyo and beyond
Hi Jan, Thanks for the kind reply. No rush about this subject. I've been using ZeosLib with C++Builder since 2015 and this was my idea to contribute with the community. Note: related to that thread, I have a version for C++Builder 10.2 Tokyo. Maybe we could test this package first (considering Embar...

Packages for C++Builder 10.2 Tokyo and beyond
Hi All, I would like to contribute with project/package files for compiling ZeosLib with new versions of C++Builder. Yesterday Embarcadero released Communit Edition with resources similar to the Professional version of Delphi and C++Builder, so I think Zeos Lib will increase its number of users cons...

Re: Firebird/SQLite - TFloatField/TSingleField
Hi Jan, You were right, it is indeed a BCB/Delphi behavior. Changing the respective Firebird's column to DOUBLE PRECISION resulted in a persistent TFloatField. And this is alright, because SQLite's FLOAT type has 8 bytes, as Firebird's DOUBLE PRECISION. Also, I'll try to test your hint about using A...
