Zeos 6.6 is nicely working on Lazarus v.0.9.20 (beta). I found no major problems, from installation to usage. I'm not fully using and experiment with all Zeos' capabilities, though. So, perhaps there are some bugs or errors I might not find. For installation on Lazarus, I simply follow the normal pa...

Using daily snapshot (0.9.x where x is odd number) the installation is very simple and straight forward. These are steps that I did... - Just install Lazarus from the installer (.rpm or win installer) and follow its steps as usual. - After installation is done, open and compile ZeosDBO Lazarus packa...

Do we have to (always?) use snapshot of Lazarus to get Zeos working? What's the differences between FPC 2.0.2 and FPC 2.1.1 that could make Zeos not working? What are FPC features of FPC 2.1.1 needed to get Zeos working? I believe we can send patch or workaround to official FPC release so we can use...

My Lazarus v.0.9.14 (using FPC v.2.0.2) worked fine with the default installation. I just failed to install ZeosDBO package. But after I updated the FPC with v.2.1.1 snapshot (taken from ftp://ftp.freepascal.org/pub/fpc/snapshot/v21/i386-win32/), Lazarus then failed to compile anything at all. The c...

Yup... me too! I've see more and more Delphi programmers switching to Lazarus, as I did since the last 6 months. Though there's dbExpress in Delphi and sqlDB on Lazarus for multi-db connection component, these people are expecting Zeos as the main database connection component because Zeos is intero...

I'll also be glad if Zeos could support these RDBMSs: - mySQL (all versions) - Firebird/Interbase (remember, these two DBes will more and more different by the newer version) - PostgreSQL - MS SQL - Oracle - IBM DB2 We must admit, the first three DBs are the most popular on FLOSS community, but the ...

Yes, and No... date is ok if you only looking at it... but... if you change it, then is not ok. How come is this happen? Bug on date/time field is (very) critical, IMO, since almost every db on the world have date/time field. Is there already any workaround for this? Quick and dirty patch would be ...
