Hi EgonHugeist, Alex ! I'm just want to confirm that the Macro functionality is relay good thing and it will bring ZeosDBO up to new level of usability. Years a go I use MyDAC and lot of things can do with Macros. If I remember Zeos has macros in earlier versions, can't remember when it was gone ......

I'm updated Lazarus and ZeosDBO rev.: 3520, from svn and can't compile it with FPC 2.7.1 svn i386, the error is :
Compiling package ZCore 7.2: Exit code 256, Errors 1
Fatal: I/O Error: File not open

while with FPC 2.6.5 svn is OK !
Lazarus 1.3 svn, XUbuntu 14.04 LTS i386.

Zeos7.2-alpha branches_ testing_r3380 :
compiles and runs on :
- Lazarus 32 svn, fpc 2.6.5 svn on XUbuntu 14.04 LTS i386,
- Lazarus 32 svn, fpc 2.7.1 svn on XUbuntu 14.04 LTS i386,

Hi ! I can't promise you to send regularly test reports, like You, I can test time to time when updating Lazarus and Fpc from SVN and if some errors occurred (or not). Second I'm using only 32 bit Linux systems, mostly Ubuntu (Debian) derivate, just compiling (in VirtualBox) and running on Win XP, 7...

Can You pleas add in your test platform Lazarus/Fpc 2.6.4 and (or) 2.6.5 ?
The Fpc 2.6.4 is at the moment an official compiler version for Lazarus, ad I'm found some errors last couple of days witch is not present with Fpc 2.7.1 compiler version.

EgonHugeist, Yes almost always, but mostly in form Params[0].AsString rarely ParamByName('par').AsString. Using string, integer, datetime and float data types, (not using Int64 or Date data types in parameters) but have no problems by now on Lazarus 1.1 svn, FPC 2.6.3 svn, FPC 2.7.1 svn, Zeos 7.1.0 ...

is resolved, still no other problems detected ...

EgonHugeist, Sorry for little delay ... Firstly tested it with the test program, it is now OK ! Tested it with my production program witch is the origin of this discussion and it works perfectly ! I do not noticed any other problems by now ... Again meany thanks for so quick help and for your time !...

EgonHugeist, You do not need to run fpcup_linux_x directly, it is called from shell script fpcup.txt (.txt because forum does not accept .sh extension) on terminal like: ./fpcup.txt [enter] where fpcup_linux_x and fpcup.txt script is in ../home dir.
